Once again the wisdom and wit of my daughter...
Elena: "Mami - Noel (Elena's friend) has a little brother and a little sister - that's what I want"
Marialice: "Well, honey - I have a little girl and a little boy - isn't that good?"
Elena: "No Mami - I want a little sister..."
Marialice: "Well, what if we have another little boy - I don't even know what well have"
Elena: "No Mami - I want a little sister..."
Marialice: "Well, you'll have to pray and ask God for that..."
Elena: "I know we'll have a baby girl - I prayed to God and he heard me...."

The kids and Marialice go to read stories at Barnes and Noble's bookstore on Monday. It has become a regular event. This week, the story was Green Eggs and Ham - well the reader asked if anyone knew the book - and Elena stuck her hand way up. She got up on stage and helped the reader read the whole story. "I do not like Green eggs and ham...." Marilalice told me that she spent the whole time dancing around, primping away, acting hugely cute, and enjoying the protagonism emensely. Then after the reading was over and all the kids had scattered, Antonio crawled up on the stage, stood up and screamed with delight "Ahhaa" as if to say - look at me guys, I'm the protagonist too...
